The specialist in thatched roofs since 1924
The thatching profession is centuries old. When the Roosma brothers entered this profession in 1924, they were therefore hopeful that the business would flourish. Of course, our ancestors could never have imagined that it would still be so successful in the 21st century.
Maintenance contracts
Because thatched roofs require regular maintenance, you can take out a maintenance contract with us. We'll regularly remove moss, comb the roofs, and detect any leaks promptly.
Riethandel
Our own Dutch harvest can supply approximately 30% of the reed market. That's why Gebr. Roosma Rietdekkers also imports high-quality reed from other countries. For example, we travel to Austria every year to harvest the reed at Lake Neuseidler near Vienna using our own reed harvesting machines.
